Chapter Fifteen: Four Stages
Clarise had her wings and tail taken away from her so many times that she finally grew accustomed to the fact that she would have to live her life without them. Before she could get to this point however she had to go through the four stages of acceptance: denial, anger, something else, and then acceptance. Denial and anger were difficult for her, but the third stage was the worst because she couldn't remember what it was. She finally accepted that she didn't know what the third stage was and then she was able to accept she would have to live without her wings and tail. After that I think she got a job at a restaurant or something. On to Book Four... |
