Chapter Ten: Problem Solved
Both Rex and Valence noticed early on that there were serious problems with their marriage. He was crazy and she hated him. They didn't bother to get divorced because there were still things they could use each other for. All Rex wanted was for her to leave him alone, so he could plot his own death. All Valence wanted was to have him finally succeed with one of his attempts, so she could collect his inheritance.
